A Brief Description of CL Maschinenbau
CL Maschinenbau GmbH was established on 20 December 1994 from a company named Claes, which was a manufacturer of heavy-duty industrial sewing machines facing liquidation at the time. On 6 February 1995, the company started operations with a workforce of 15 employees. It manufactured sewing machines for show repair and orthopaedic applications, linking machines for the production of pullovers, and components - such as milled and turned parts - for special customers. In the same year, the company began producing components used in compressed-air engineering. Over the years, the range of products manufactured has been growing continuously. In 1997, for example, we started making storage and retrieval machinery, with peeling machines added to our line of production in 1999. This growth has resulted in a steady increase in the number of employees. Since 2002, we have been able to provide additional electrical installation services for complex assemblies, thus enhancing our manufacturing capability.
